Beaches

Paros is famous for its long, exotic beaches with crystal clear waters and not unjustifiably. Many tourists every year come to Paros from all around the world to enjoy the water and magnificent landscape.

Golden Beach is a 700 metre long sandy beach in the south of Parikia. This beach along with New Golden Beach is on the top ranked beaches for windsurfers and kitesurfers due to the strong winds on the area. Golden Beach is also fully organized with a lot of sports facilities and apartments for rent all around the area.

Pounda Beach is located two kilometres away from Logaras, south east of Parikia. Pounda is one of the most famous and crowded beaches in Paros since it combines a fully organized beach with a big complex of summer facilities like swimming pools, beach bars and restaurants etc. Visitors there can enjoy loud party music the whole day while enjoying their swim and dance till late in the night. Pounda beach is easily accessible from the road.

Logaras Beach is a medium size beach with coarse sand located at a distance of 20 km in the south of Parikia. It is a family friendly beach, ideal for snorkelling and sports surrounded by small taverns and rooms for rent.

Kolimbithres is a famous beach, which took its name by the rocks which lying next to the sea water and look like small swimming pools. The beach is easy accessible by foot, bus and boat.

Santa Maria is a beautiful sandy and fully organized beach located near Naoussa village. At the beach, one can also find water sport facilities such as windsurfing and diving.

Faragas is a bay with two homonymous beaches, the one of them is organized and the other one is secluded. It is located 3 kilometres away from Aliki, which is among the most traditional villages of the island.
